Description
Villa Gioiello is located in a splendid panoramic setting in front of the port of Amalfi. A beautiful villa with large indoor and outdoor spaces and very bright. The large pool with chromotherapy is ideal for a relaxing holiday. The villa is accessible via 300 steps. Luggage will be handled by the property between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, provided that the service is confirmed at the time of booking, and will be delivered directly to the villa.
The villa is on 3 levels, connected by an external staircase:

SECOND LEVEL:
• 2 large panoramic terraces, overlooking the port of Amalfi
• living room with open bookcase
• industrial kitchen - also ideal for events - sea view
• 2 double bedrooms, sea view - each with private bathroom with shower
• 1 double bedroom with sea view - with private bathroom with Jacuzzi
• 1 service bathroom
THIRD LEVEL - accessible with an external staircase:
• Relax area with hammocks
• Swimming pool area with hydromassage and chromotherapy
• Large Solarium overlooking the sea and the port of Amalfi
• 1 suite with double bed, small living room and bathroom with shower
Each room is equipped with TV, air conditioning and fridge and has a balcony door that overlooks a common terrace from which you can see the sea.
There are 300 steps separating the villa from the upper rolling road - and 700 steps leading to Amalfi center. The main entrance to the villa is from the rolling stock at the top, or from the village of Pogerola di Amalfi. Luggage will be handled by the property between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, provided that the service is confirmed at the time of booking, and will be delivered directly to the villa.
On foot you can reach:
• Various Bars & Restaurants (Cocktail Bar, Acqualina Hostaria, La Carcara Pizzeria, Trattoria Da Rispoli, Gerry's Pub)
• Sita Bus to Amalfi

The Villa is absolutely beautiful! The aroma of honeysuckle when approaching the front entrance is amazing. Flower & fruit trees abundant everywhere. The views of the coast and the town of Amalfi breathtaking! A lot of areas throughout the house to ssee more
The Villa is absolutely beautiful! The aroma of honeysuckle when approaching the front entrance is amazing. Flower & fruit trees abundant everywhere. The views of the coast and the town of Amalfi breathtaking! A lot of areas throughout the house to sit and relax with a glass of wineexpresso. Nono arriving each morning to tend to the gardens and pigs was very heartwarming. Such a lovely & kind man who is very humble and proud of his home. He was so happy that we enjoyed our stay. Our entire family (adult children in their 20's-30's) had a memorable time...As I've said to family & friends, it was a lifetime experience that I feel so fortunate to have had! Some of the bathrooms could use an update, especially the shower/bathtub and the mattresses on some of the beds were not very comfortable and should be replaced. Some of the furniture and decor also warrants an update. Be prepared though to spend a lot of money on transportation. Unless you only plan on walking down 800+ steps to town200+ up to the top to dinetake the local bus, taxi service to surroundings towns & excursions was costly. Not sure if the personal chef that came to the villa to cook a meal for us was worth it either ($140/per person, not including wine and extra fees to transport chef & food to villa). Francesco was very very helpful throughout the planning process of the trip as well as during our stay. He was always available to assist us! All in all, a wonderful time spent on the Amalfi Coast!

Amazing views, location, space and amenities. The stairs are a challenge and not for everyone. Host and SMAAC contact were both attentive, helpful and courteous. I would recommend that SMAAC allow folks to be in contact sooner with the host not wait see more

I would recommend that SMAAC allow folks to be in contact sooner with the host not wait until week of arrival. The host, Giusy, is super helpful and it would've been nicer to have her help us plan activities and things more in advance since she IS local and has the local experience. This is not a fault of GiusyFrancesco the SMAAC's contact. AirBnB should allow for connections sooner.

The house is so beautiful and the view is exactly as shown in the pictures, it’s very special! Before arrival, Francesco from SMAAC helped me with every single little detail. I am so grateful to him because he was incredible and always responded withsee more
The house is so beautiful and the view is exactly as shown in the pictures, it’s very special! Before arrival, Francesco from SMAAC helped me with every single little detail. I am so grateful to him because he was incredible and always responded within a few minutes! But the house is impossible to reach for elderly peopleanyone who has difficulties. The stairs are not even and difficult to walk. I wanted to buy groceries but it’s impossible to carry anything down and we were not allowed to use the lift. Only the owners are allowed to use the lift and hiring their help cost 100€ extra. While at the house, it’s not Francesco who is the contact but Guisy. Unfortunately, her English was terrible so communication was problematic. She didn’t tell us that we had to pack the night before so we had to carry our suitcases up ourselves. She charged extra for many small things (100€ for speaker, water). She tried to charge me extra tax and I constantly had discussions with her.

This Villa is absolutely one of the best places we’ve ever been to. The home is stunning with 3 different levels and perfectly clean. The communication is above and beyond anything you could expect. We had them throw us a pizza party on our last day see more

We had them throw us a pizza party on our last day and our friends and family joined and we made the most amazing memories that will last a lifetime. Everything about this home and the hosts exceeded our expectations by far. If you have a big group looking for the BEST place to stay to make the BEST memories, seriously, look no further. They cater to your every need and truly care about you. We will be coming back for our anniversary in a few years, without a doubt. Thank you so much for everything!!!!!!!!!

Amazing views & great property for our group of 14! There was more than enough space & we never felt like we were in each other’s way. I celebrated my 40th birthday in Amalfi & SMAAC (the company that helps manage the Airbnb clients) were very responsive & helpful. We were there the first week of May & the weather was still quite chilly. The pool is not heated & there is no outdoor hot tub, so we didn’t get any use out of the pool. It actually rained the first 2 days we were there! 😕 It’s 300 steps down to the Villa from the road. To Amalfi Town it’s 700 steps down & then take the bus back (then it’s the 300 steps down to the Villa from the bus stop (just by the entrance to the steps). Keep in mind that the buses stop at 11 pm, & earlier on public holidays. Check this with SMAACthe owners beforehand so that you can plan. Taxis are very expensive, but if you’re with a big group we found that the taxis by the bus stop in Amalfi Town are about €40-€50 & fit 8 ppl.

The villa is amazing! When you arrive you remain speachless just seeing the view! Amalfi Coast is a great location for the summer holiday, the girls from the location were waiting for us and helped us with the luggage. We had to take the stiars but tsee more

Amalfi Coast is a great location for the summer holiday, the girls from the location were waiting for us and helped us with the luggage. We had to take the stiars but they were not so bad especially because we need to do it oance per day. The pool is great, also the personal did the grocery for us and in the evening we ordered pasta/ pizza from the restaurant that is close by. We had an amazing holiday, we hope that we can go back next year! Congrats also to the owner, the garden is really impressive and well maintain! Thank you for everything!

The house is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Amazing views from every level and more than enough space for our group of 8. You could have 100 people in the outdoor areas and not feel crowded. The steps down to the water were a greatsee more

Teresa, Norman and the entire staff were so accommodating, helping us book multiple dinner reservations, private transfers, a boat day, and a private chef. Teresa was a pleasure to work with.

The best thing about this villa is that it has 8 rooms and can accommodate many people. The common areas and amenities are spacious and gives you a lot of flexibility for hanging out and for getting together for meals. Preparing food for a big group see more

Preparing food for a big group requires a big kitchen and the villa has a full sized stove with 6 hobs and restaurant style oven that heats up quickly.

Tiene servicio de restaurant, todo muy rico, buenas porciones y buen precio. Solamente para tener en cuenta para llegar al pueblo de Amalfi tenes que bajar bastantes escalones, aproximadamente en 25 minutos estas abajo. Para la vuelta recomiendo tomar el bus publico a Pogerola y bajarse en el hotel Excelsior y bajar las escaleras hasta la casa. Unas vacaciones increibles!!
